According to The Athletic  Manchester united will waive the cost of legal referee Dan Ashworth possibly if a third party comes to a settlement with Newcastle United.

Ashworth wanted to join Man United as sporting director immediately but Newcastle put him on leave.

They are demanding a massive 20million compensation package to allow Ashworth to serve his notice.

Man United have made it clear they have refused to pay a huge ransom for Ashworth.
